Hungary and Slovakia weren’t defined by drama. They were defined by adjustment.

• Cancelled river cruises.
• Cold dashes in the night to switch off a light.
• Haircuts in a campsite chair.
• A snake interrupting a sales role-play.
• None of it catastrophic.
• All of it real.

Leadership isn’t only tested in crisis. It’s refined in inconvenience.

𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭, 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞

The Danube cruise was cancelled. We adapted.
The light bar was impractical. We upgraded.
The snake disrupted the business session. We laughed.

The Roy Pow charger wasn’t glamorous. But it solved friction. And friction, left unresolved, drains morale.

𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. They don’t tolerate avoidable inefficiencies simply because “that’s how it’s been.” They improve the system.

Slovakia added another layer: quiet strength. A country shaped by history, not shouting about it — simply carrying it with dignity.

Sometimes leadership is:
• Fixing the light switch.
• Trimming the hair.
• Laughing at the snake.
• Walking the cobbled streets with awareness of the layers beneath.

• Improve what you can.
• Accept what you can’t.
• Stay light when possible.
• Stay steady always.
And keep moving forward.
