Over 444 days and 67,080 kilometres โ from England to New Zealand, overland โ every challenge we faced became a masterclass in leadership, business, and life.

Croatia taught us something simple but powerful: elevation changes everything.
At street level, Dubrovnik was crowded, noisy, and overwhelming. From the gondola above, it was majestic โ ordered, timeless, breathtaking.
Same city. Different perspective.
Leadership often works like that.
When you stay at ground level โ in the noise, the pressure, the immediacy โ everything feels urgent and chaotic. But when you deliberately rise above it, even briefly, clarity returns.
๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ณ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง.
๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ณ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ.
Slovenia added another layer: endurance.
Storm Boris didnโt ask for permission. It didnโt adjust to our plans. It simply arrived and stayed. We couldnโt control it. We could only endure it.
๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ซ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐.
You elevate to gain perspective. You hunker down when storms hit. You accept parking tickets without drama. You accept hospitality with gratitude.
And perhaps most importantly โ you recognise that the most important outcomes are not always on the itinerary.
The gondola view.
The stray cat.
The unpaid ticket.
The invitation from Cveto and Martina, who saw us camped in the rain through Storm Boris.
Perspective softens frustration.
Gratitude strengthens resilience.
The road through Croatia and Slovenia reminded us:
