Why are team meetings so important?
What do you talk about?
Here's a hard truth I share with a lot of business owners: your team can only perform as well as the direction you give them.
And direction doesn't happen by accident. It happens in the meeting.
I know โ "another meeting" makes people groan. But that's usually because the meetings are long, unfocused and go nowhere. A great team meeting is the opposite: quick, clear, and everyone walks out knowing exactly what matters and what they're responsible for.
When you get that rhythm right, three things happen:
โ
Problems get spotted early, not after they've cost you
โ
Your best people stay, because they feel part of something
โ
You stop carrying the whole business on your own shoulders
A strong team is one of the biggest assets your business has. But it needs to be led โ and the team meeting is where that leadership shows up.
If your team meetings have gone a bit stale, don't ditch them. Fix them. The payoff is worth it.
